Draftkings UFC - Fight Night Blachowicz vs Ravic - May 14 2022

Its been a while since I had a chance to enter some analysis for MMA. Lets see what we can do with this short slate. As always check back to this page for updates leading up to the fight.

Ownership projections are kinda interesting this week right now. But it looks like I may lock in either Petroski or Maximov for the simple reason; leverage. Not just leverage but value. They both look to be high value for their price and odds. I will say thta Petroski vegas odds dont look great for any type of finish, so will look at leverage without him as well. His odds are high due to his scoring potential. His previous 2 fights where he was the favorite, he got a KO and submission and over 100 pts each. Vegas odds for a finish vs Maximov are quite low so he will be high risk high reward.

Without Petroski:

For best bets, Maximov looks intruiging for his win odds. Sucks that he faces Petroski as that sorta messes up my initial read on this slate. Usually if a fight is likely to draw, I go underdogs for a lil extra low ownership play, if the pace of the fight has potential for lots of strikes. Speaking of underdogs..

For my underdog listing, I like to target streaks and value. So someone like Ribas and Patrick could end up in a lineup for me. Ill have optimal percentages a lil bit later.

Size Matchups

Not a ton stands out here except 4 inches to Ryan Spann over Cutelaba.
