PGA Championship - Draftkings Data Review - May 23 2022

Figured I would take a sec to look over things publicly, as lineup review is a major part of my process. First gonna pull up the optimal lineup for the week:

There are several names that were in the realm of possible here. Fleetwood is the only one I didnt think about playing at all, yet he projected 10% ownership, which I find kinda weird.

$600 left in salary and almost 85% total ownership in this lineup so I suppose this was sorta a week of chalk.

This is where I landed in a single entry lineup this week ($12 albatross):

6 of 6 like many this week. Munoz limped across the line. Henley and Munoz limped across the final round. At some point will need to figure out how to avoid bum performances like that in my picks, but I am not sure I have an answer yet. So what else did we know going into the week?

Reviewing in relation to my previous post, I circled th guys in which I thought would mae for good building blocks. JT wins it and is priced right on the odds - but was on the higher ownership side, so I didnt get to him up top. Mito is the cheapest play at his price point that has good odds and he pans out. Zalatoris and Smith did well too, but this chart tells me that perhaps some thought has to go into finding the right chalk plays. Xander, Fitzpatrick, Cam Young and JT all check those boxes but didnt get highlighted here.

This predictor chart did highlight well for me that Cameron Young is due. I will do what I said and keep him in my lineups as long as his price is right because I believe he will win and I want to be overweight on him when he does. It also highlights that Scottie Scheffler is voted most likely to not win according to me because he has won too much for his performances.

This is becoming my favorite chart, and if I can find a way to crunch based on it, I may do that with 150. I circled the guys who ended up in the top 20ish DK scores to highlight how cool it is with finding plays against the grain.

Finally just pulling this one up to really see where I probably messed up in my single entry this week. I built for Rory + Rahm stacks. JT is actually playing better going into this week and was a cheaper price than he was, so a double stack there would have been soo much better.
