PGA DFS - FedEx St. Jude Championship - Aug 11 2022

Finally getting a shot at this slate. What I know is that accuracy beats the distance guys this week. Approach play is important and putting is too. Lots of water so I think we see scores vary around cut time.

Top odds of success are with Rory and Scheffler. Basically the whole 10k+ range is showing signs of leverage since no one is going heavy chalk this week up there. The 8k range is holding most of the ownership it seems and therefore balance between 9k and 7k only, or super stars and scrubs might actually pan out (2 10k guys with 6 and 7k guys).

Around the time that I stopped playing Scheffler, I made a bold call that he would not win anymore this season. Well season is over and he did not win. But now there is a decent reason to look back at him. Low ownership and high odds with a relatively lower price.

Cam Smith is one foot in the LIV tour and therefore low ownership. I want to play him but I can't.

Interesting note on expected wins, is that Tony Finau really got hot but still has more expected wins than he actually has. Maybe he gets another before this year is up?

This is my favorite chart. Bold call of the week? I'mma fade Burns on DK. I might even fade Sungjae too. And the whole 8k range. Looking at leverage plays, Varner, Power and my boy Cam Young all standing out the best imo. Will see what happens this weekend. Good luck!
