PGA Draftkings - AT&T Byron Nelson - May 10th 2022

Updated: May 11, 2022

The week before a major.. it gets tricky! Lets take a look at this week's field. I am quite proud of the plays my tools have pulled to my attention in previous weeks. Now lets see if the dashboard can secure the bag.

Course notes: Lots of birdies expected. Last year -25 ish was the winning score. Gonna need some prime time scorers. Doesnt seem to require distance or accuracy off the tee, so not much to stop a player from scoring well. Perhaps will look at birdie or better + approach + tee to green stats for the most part if I am looking at stats.

Update: Wednesday 8:00pm CST

Previous update:

The Schef has been cookin this field every week. Hes rightfully the highest odds of success until further notice. However we saw last week that the 1st place lineup did not need a Rory who finished T2. So it will be important to monitor optimal percentages around him this week. That and - the green dots! Can anyone tell me how healthy Hideki really is? Watson, Hoge and List are also intruigingly green and above the value line. D Johnson below it but still one of the best odds on the slate.

Here is a list of those who have done well strokes gained wise this season. As mentioned, some guys to consider will have good approach numbers. JT, Zalatoris, Hideki stand out the most. List, Mito and Hoge are also interesting for cheap. Could make a lineup of 4 letter names this week and be ok. (Aka add Wise to that list if so hah).

I gotta give it up to DJ though this week. Underowned, great golfer and quite frankly could come win this thing just for a warmup to next week.

Leverage spots by price:

My advice would be to go easy on the 7k range in terms of exposures because I could see it being the make or break for lineups this week. I circled Bubba only because of his green dot. Id have otherwise circled Si Woo but leverage is my middle name. DF Leverage Sed.

Optimal percentages:

No one too high this week.

Check back into Wednesday as I have more data ready to roll this week, including my primetime leverage plays. I just update this same post til lineup lock.

Bonus view for the late crowd.. Another path to finding leverage, especially next to birdie makers.

Kim, Power, and Hoge are all intruiging when looking at it this way. But YOLO as usual.
