Maximizing Your DraftKings NFL Lineup: AFC and NFC Championship Games Odds and Leverage

Lets take a quick peek at some scenarios today.

Main Slate

Lamar has the top usage, 30% owned which is half of what CMC is getting. Do we take the pairing today? Can we? Or do we sit on the WRs instead? Lets find out. Rice and Brown both look like they could have leverage so theres some merit to targetting the WR options. Purdy is the main switch most are taking but it seems Goff is leverage over Purdy today.

KC vs Baltimore

Lamar has the highest upside due to how he plays the position. One name Im actually considering though for value would be CEH today. I hear Pachecho is dealing with turf toe so that cant be good for his workload. Also note that Mark Andrews hasnt had any recent games to qualify for this chart so that throws things off a bit.

From a showdown perspective:

Lamar, Mahomes, and Andrews are the most viable captain options.

Det vs SF

CMC is the clear top workload in every game he plays. The question is always who can you pair with him, unless you think he is going to be injured, as thats the only way he is shut down. There are several players in the middle range who are going to be tough to squeeze in so that is a consideration as well.

From a showdown perspective:

CMC, Kittle and David Montgomery are the most viable captain plays that I can see panning out.

Vegas

Projections say that KC should get blown out, and maybe thats true with the number of injuries. However I will always back the Chiefs so I am disregarding the vegas total personally. Detroit looks like a team that is projected to cover the spread though tonight. Both games could go over the vegas total as well.

Defense vs Receivers

Essentially every play on the board is a WR today as the best bet. Aiyuk vs Samuel is a decision point considering WR1 isnt so clear cut on that team.

Summary

Everything suggests that Lamar and the Ravens should find big success rushing today. One thing to note is that KC defense might be intruiging if they can somehow limit Lamar rushing and convert them to sacks. Unfortunately I dont think thats in the ravens game plan to have him throw a ton though.

Projections

Here it is. I am taking a huge chance on locking Chiefs defense against a running team today. Between Chiefs DST, Rice, and St Brown, I believe you will need some of that to win and leverage. Good luck!
