Maximizing Your Monday Night NFL DFS Payout: Eagles vs. Seahawks DraftKings and Fanduel GPP Leverage

This game could be interesting for a few reasons so lets get into it.

Expectations vs Salary

Hurts is seemingly hurt yet his workload is still really high, along with his price and his ownership. Smith, Brown and Metcalf fall right below him. Drew Lock is coming in to replace Geno, which also makes things weird since we dont have a solid 5 week lookback for Lock. The Seattle side of things will be much more affordable to stack, wit the cheapest of the bunch all being Seattle plays (Quez,Dissly, Fant).

Vegas Projections

These were likely snagged before the Geno news so check your local vegas numbers. However if Seattle can play to the best of their ability, I have them losing by 3 regardless, but the total point spread projecting over the Vegas total in that case.

Game Script:

The Eagles like to run the ball and likely stick to that today, yet passing against the Seahawks doesnt appear to be terrible regardless. With Seattle, we are expecting passing to be their path to success as the Eagles funnel to the pass, with a bad secondary. PFF is projecting strong advantages to Metcalf and Lockett if Lock can get the ball to them.

Defense vs Receivers

Id say that Seattle passing is going to strongly favor WR2 and TE, with a little bump towards WR3 as well. WR1 may see a tougher matchup but yet that matchup is only average. Philly will likely rely on TE and WR2 when passing.

When Philly has the ball:

The 3 viable candidates to play at captain would be Hurts, Brown and Goedert, with Goedert providing the most leverage at captain, yet still viable at flex as of now. Quez might have some appeal in the flex for a dart play at 800 salary.

When Seattle has the ball:

There is a path to playing Drew, Metcalf, Lockett or Jaxon at captain as of now. None are surefire captain leverage for me just yet, but am leaning Drew as of now due to his price. I do think I am favoring Lockett over Metcalf today in my builds just due to him lining up on the weaker side of the defense more often than Metcalf.

Fanduel

My lean tonight would likely be to absorb the Hurts ownership at MVP on this site unless we get more injury clarity that says not to. Smith would be my 2nd favorite if not playing Hurts at MVP.
